Landfill Operator

About the role
This role is central to the smooth operation of the City's landfill site, overseeing waste compaction, environmental controls, and plant equipment. You'll lead daily activities, coordinate contractors, and contribute to the Environmental Management System at England's Road. It's a hands-on role with real impact and perfect for someone who takes pride in safety, teamwork, and keeping our city clean and efficient.

About you
The role requires a Certificate III in Civil Construction (or equivalent experience), a current HR licence (or willingness to obtain within 3 months), a First Aid Certificate, and a White Card. You'll need proven experience operating plant machinery such as compactors or loaders, and a solid understanding of landfill operations and environmental protocols. Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills are essential to succeed in this hands-on, high-impact role.
What's on offer?
- Competitive Salary (from $66,450.68) depending on your capabilities and experience + 12% superannuation.
- Permanent Full Time 38 hours per week
